always time on my mind.

i've had a headache since like.. last wednesday. no joke.

taylor was in alaska for an eternity. but he got to see bears and catch tons of fish.

i hung out with my lover keisha like 20 times.

then taylor came home and had a birthday! so we went bowling and ate lots of food.

music is the best.

honestly, i spend so much time thinking about, well, time. how i don't have enough of it, or how i have too much of it. i'm trying to learn patience. and how to pace myself. and not think about the next thing coming up or what's happened, but enjoy what is happening right NOW.

cohens and cowboys

i just finished re-watching season one of the OC.

and i wept for the last fifteen minutes straight.

i adore ryan atwood and the cohens.

today, taylor and i did some manly things.

we went to two gun shops searching for some special ammo, ate at cheba hut (MMM!), and played at bass pro shop. taylor taught me about different types of fish, and different types of guns.

we also browsed around shepler's (the cowboy store) where i rode (sat on) a ceramic bull. there are steps leading up to a platform so you can climb onto the bull, and as i was walking up there, this old cowboy man said to me, "well now, is that the auction block?" i sure do have a way with the elderly men. gross. also while at shepler's, i got a much needed dream catcher for my rear-view mirror.. did you know that i'm 1/16 cherokee?

we went to sportsman's warehouse, and later ended up at taylor's house shooting a bottle of saline solution in the backyard. then we ate hot dogs and did some wikipedia research on skinwalkers and watched youtube videos of sasquatch.

i'm pretty sure my life can't get any better.

so far, this summer has been AWESOME.

i get to hang out with my best friend all the time

i get to see lots of my other friends

and make some reaaally cool new ones

i get to see my family

i get to go to QT approximately five times a day

i get to lay out by my pool whenever i want

i get to have a job that makes me smell good

today i leave prescott to go to tempe for the rest of my az stay. i've just had a difficult time adjusting to prescott/motel life. i don't really know anyone here and i just really need more family and friends around me. so if you're in the valley and want to go to QT with me, let me know! i heart QT.

are you a dreamer?

my love had to leave me this afternoon. jake got into town late thursday night and left today. we went down to the valley on friday and he was thrown into the snake pit of meeting almost everyone in my family. he handled it like a champ though. i miss him already, but i'll be back in utah in less than three weeks! i'm excited to be with him all the time and to see all of my dear provo friends again.

last night jake and i saw funny people. i'm not a huge adam sandler fan, but i really enjoyed the movie. it wasn't really slapstick humor, like lots of the other comedies that have come out recently. oh, and seth rogen is a peach. and jason schwartzman was great too. and leslie mann has the cutest voice.

today has definitely been movie day for me. i watched the incredibles today on the disney channel. such a clever movie. then i watched crash. so good, but also pretty difficult to watch. now i'm watching waking life, which has been a favorite of mine for a few years. it's completely unique, conceptually and visually.

i'm ready to be back in provo. like, immediately. i miss my jake. i love my boy.

i was lucky enough to have sydnee come up and hang out in prescott with me for a few days. i love my bfff.

if you don't have a pedegg, you should get one. it works wonders, even though it's like a cheese grater for your feet.

here i am at the motor lodge in prescott, arizona. i smell cookies. my eyes are burning.

i miss jake. a lot. a lot lot lot. 

grandy and grandad's fiftieth anniversary is this weekend, and the whole family will be up at the lodge to celebrate. i'm excited to see them all. and i can't help but think about my grandparents. fifty years. i can only hope and pray that my husband, whomever he may turn out be, won't tire of me so we can last that long.

did i stutter?

well i am officially moving back to az. i'm leaving next weekend for prescott and i'm coming back to utah at the end of august. i'll be living and working at my dad's motel, the motor lodge. it'll be fun, but i'll miss my love.

also, i maintain that the sound of music is the greatest musical ever made. and the scene where captain vontrapp breaks up with baroness schrader and then goes to maria in the grove and they sing "something good" and declare their love for one another is the sweetest love scene ever.

my bestfriend sydnee was in town this week and we got to hang out yesterday. i love having a best friend, who you can not see for a long time and then hang out and it's like you were never apart. it's the best.
