are you a dreamer?

my love had to leave me this afternoon. jake got into town late thursday night and left today. we went down to the valley on friday and he was thrown into the snake pit of meeting almost everyone in my family. he handled it like a champ though. i miss him already, but i'll be back in utah in less than three weeks! i'm excited to be with him all the time and to see all of my dear provo friends again.

last night jake and i saw funny people. i'm not a huge adam sandler fan, but i really enjoyed the movie. it wasn't really slapstick humor, like lots of the other comedies that have come out recently. oh, and seth rogen is a peach. and jason schwartzman was great too. and leslie mann has the cutest voice.

today has definitely been movie day for me. i watched the incredibles today on the disney channel. such a clever movie. then i watched crash. so good, but also pretty difficult to watch. now i'm watching waking life, which has been a favorite of mine for a few years. it's completely unique, conceptually and visually.
