today was strange. it was my first easter away from home and it didn't feel like easter at all. even at church, we didn't have one easter lesson, or even one on the savior or the atonement. it was all very odd to me. for dinner my lovely roommate, rachel, made barbecue chicken pizza. not the typical ham and taters and rolls and salad that we're all used to, but it was still yummy. the easter bunny didn't come. but rachel and i did wander around provo canyon taking easter pictures in our church clothes.. still, not the same as my annual easter picture with sydnee. i'll be glad to go home in a week to see my family, and then it's on to san diego, disneyland, and the cruise with rachel and her family! just gotta get through finals first..
